144th Way Road Improvements
This project upgrades an existing route for commercial and transit vehicles as well as neighborhood traffic, just north of SeaTac International Airport’s 3rd Runway. Key to the project is the replacement of an existing box culvert on Miller Creek with a larger, longer, fisheries compliant box culvert including stream restoration and riparian enhancements. The project provides for storm drain improvements including an infiltration pond and stormwater treatment structure, road reconstruction and widening, improved sight distance and turning radius, added Illumination and traffic signal improvements, geosynthetic and rockery retaining walls, curb and gutters, sidewalks and ADA ramp improvements, lightweight fill and general embankments.

Williams Ave & Wells Avenue
This project provides for the upgrade of 4 blocks of historic downtown Renton between 3rd and 4th Streets on Williams and Wells Avenue, including converting both Williams and Wells from one-way streets to two-way streets. Included in the scope of work are new illumination systems, four new signals and signing upgrades, new curbs, sidewalks ADA ramps and concrete paving at each of the 4 intersections. The project also provides for storm, water and sewer upgrades as well as landscaping, irrigation and streetscape enhancements. The project is part of the City of Renton’s Downtown Corridor Improvements program.
